Embassy Dushanbe Public Diplomacy Section (PDS) is pleased to announce funding is available to develop and deliver a national technology education program for youth at nine American Spaces programming centers across Tajikistan. Through off-line and on-line workshops, training sessions, and practical exercises, the program would equip participants with knowledge and skills to compete in the global market. The selected project implementer will: 1. Oversee curriculum design and teaching of tech courses at nine American Space locations, 2. Ensure the course curriculum is appropriate for local context based on age and language requirement, and 3. Foster connectivity and friendship among program participants from different locations to create a network of peers who could collaborate in the future.
The Public Diplomacy Section encourages applications from Tajikistan registered not-for-profit organizations, civil society/non-governmental organizations, and educational institutions. Organizations with at least three years of programming experience and IT programming experience are desired. Organizations may sub-contract with other entities, but only one, not-for-profit, non-governmental entity can be the prime recipient of the award.
The detailed Notice of Funding Opportunity announcement outlining project goals and all administrative requirements for submitting the application package is available on grants.gov system and on U.S. Embassy Dushanbe’s website.
Proposals must be received by August 5, 2022.
